Manufacturing Day 2026: Family Event

FAMILY WAIVER AND RELEASE

This Waiver and Release of Liability (“Release”) is executed by the undersigned parent/guardian in connection with participation in a Manufacturing Day program organized by AMT (Alliance for Manufacturing & Technology) in partnership with SUNY Campus (the “College”). This program program is intended to provide educational benefits to all participants about manufacturing. Any dispute that may arise out of or relate to this Release shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, at AMT or SUNY facilities in Broome County. Should any portion of this Release be deemed invalid or unenforceable under law, that portion of the Release shall be considered void, and the remainder of the Release enforced to the fullest extent of the law.

1. Acknowledgement of Risks

I acknowledge that AMT, the College, and the host manufacturers have taken reasonable precautions but cannot eliminate all risks of injury, accident, or unforeseen circumstances. I knowingly assume these risks, on behalf of myself and my child, my heirs and assigns, and any related party who may bring suit based on an injury to myself or my child.

2. Release of Liability
In consideration of participation, I voluntarily agree to:

• Release and hold harmless AMT, the College, the host manufacturers, and their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of participation in this program, including travel.
• Assume full responsibility for any injury, accident, illness, or property damage that may occur during participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

3. Compliance
I agree, and will ensure that any children in my care agree, to follow all safety instructions, rules, and directions provided by AMT, the College, and host manufacturers. Failure to comply may result in removal from the program.

4. Photo/Media Release
Do you grant AMT, the College, and the host manufacturers permission to photograph or record you and you children during program activities and to use such images or recordings in promotional materials, publications, and social media, without compensation and without further consent?
