Certified Manufacturing Associate (CMfgA) Application
The goal of the Direct-to-Work program is to prepare high school graduates for entry-level positions with Tompkins County manufacturing companies. All program costs will be paid by our sponsors. There is no cost to applicants!
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until Friday, July 22, 2022.
The Direct to Work program will run for six weeks, starting July 5 to August 12, 2022.
- The CMfgA is an independent, self-paced training requires completion of 27 one-hour online classes. For more information see the CMfgA course description.
- After completing the online training, students will have an option to take nationally recognized CMfgA certification test online.
- In addition to fully paid program costs, you will receive a $500 bonus if you complete the program, and you will be guaranteed interviews with up to five Tompkins County manufactures.
